Genshin Impact Echoing Tales guide: Barbara’s swimsuit and Echoing Conches

Summertime girls are the kind I like. I'll steal your honey like I stole your bike.

Things are heating up for the summer, and it looks like Jean and Barbara can’t wait to cool off at the beach. Jean has new swimwear available, but it only comes from the shop and it costs Genesis Crystals (cash). However, you should be able to obtain Barbara’s new outfit once you reach the Golden Apple Archipelago. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to help you with Echoing Tales, the locations of Echoing Conches for Barbara’s swimsuit (Summertime Sparkle).

Genshin Impact Echoing Tales guide: Finding Echoing Conches and obtaining Barbara’s swimsuit

Echoing Conches are found all over the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact. Interacting with these objects plays a dialogue of someone else’s memory (perhaps the previous dwellers of the islands). For every four Echoing Conches that you pick up, you’ll receive rewards such as mora, talent booklets, and mystic enhancement ores. However, once you’ve discovered all 24 pieces, you’ll unlock Barbara’s Summertime Sparkle swimsuit.

Note: Echoing Conches do appear as icons on the minimap. To be clear, though, I’ve only found a select few of these. I’ll continue exploring the Golden Apple Archipelago for other Echoing Conch locations. Still, I do surmise that new islands and areas will get unlocked in the coming days.

#2: One River Flowing Down the Middle

Twinning Isle: Use the Waverider and follow the beacons (buoys). This one’s on the next island that you discover well before you interact with a fast travel point.

#3: Four Winds Bring the Sound of Joy

Twinning Isle: On the main island. It’s on a ledge below the first fast travel point that you spot.

#4: None Return

Broken Isle: Past Twinning Isle, you should find a small rock formation with a locked chest that requires you to light up four Pyro totems. The Echoing Conch is nearby.

#5: Price of Experimentation

Pudding Isle: It’s near the fast travel point. I only saw this after interacting with the other fast travel points to reveal the world map.

Update: The second act of this event (June 11) has unlocked more islands to explore. This also means that additional Echoing Conches can be discovered.
