Fallout 4 launched almost three months ago to critical praise and sold 12 million copies within the first week. It’s not surprising then that fans are hankering for more. Today, Bethesda Game Studios tweeted that the reveal of their first Fallout 4 DLC package will be coming soon:
We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.

While Bethesda hasn’t said what form the DLC will take, Fallout 3 had five DLC expansions that added new quests, locations, NPCs, and items. We can probably expect the same for the new forthcoming DLC. The first expansion should launch this year.
Additionally, Bethesda tweeted that they will be overhauling Survival Mode, including updates to food, sleep, diseases and other dangers.
We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.

We don’t yet know the specific of what these changes will entail, but we’ll keep you updated as news emerges.
