Todd Howard to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at GDC 2016

Todd Howard, game director and executive producer of Bethesda Game Studios, has been the head of some of the most beloved games ever during his work over the past 22 years.

At the Game Developer’s Choice Awards, which will be held in March, Todd Howard will be honored with a lifetime achievement award for his work at Bethesda Game Studios. He has overseen and worked on the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout 3 and 4, as well a myriad of other titles.

Megan Scavio, the GDC events general manager, commented on Howard’s award saying:

We’re proud to honor the visionary developer for his leadership in creating these universes… This award reflects on the amazing craft of Todd Howard and his team.

The awards show will be held on Wednesday, March 16th in San Francisco, which will featured games including Fallout 4, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Metal Gear Solid V,  all being up for nomination.
