Paradox has officially unveiled East vs West, the next entry in the Hearts of Iron series. This foray into the Cold War era will allow you to play as any nation of the world between 1946 and 1991 (the year the Soviet Union splintered). Diplomacy, Politics, Economy and Espionage will all be at your command as you seek to cement your nation’s influence amidst rising global tension.
Of course, traditional military options will be open to you too, if you prefer gunboat diplomacy. You can even take the ultimate option and unleash global thermonuclear war; but that’s not likely to end too well.
