A Fortnite Season 5, Week 13 challenge requires you to scan a server at a surface hub. Surface hubs are underground bunkers which you may have already explored. There are a total of three surface hubs dotted around the Fortnite map. One is located near the ruins at Stealthy Stronghold, there is one located in a small building in Hunter’s Haven and the final one is locate at Colossal Coliseum. Perhaps, the easiest surface hub to find a server to scan is located at Colossal Coliseum. Also, surface hubs normally contain a lot of powerful loot. Therefore, they can be a great place to land and start off your match strong.
When you land at Colossal Coliseum, you should land in from the southern entrance. Then, break through the huge gate and break through another that will be straight ahead of you. Go down several floors using the set of stairs. After making your way downstairs, you will notice a central pillar slightly to the right in the room. Make your way towards the central pillar which has a grey door in the middle of it.
When you open up the door, you will notice that there are two servers for you to scan. All you have to do is interact with one and the Fortnite server scan challenge will be marked as complete.
The Fortnite server scan challenge awards you more valuable XP
You will earn 20,000 XP for your efforts. Season 5 will be coming to an end in a few weeks time. It is now more important than ever to rack up as much XP as you can to complete the battle pass.
