A new week means new Fortnite challenges are available for you to complete. One Fortnite Season 5, Week 12 challenge requires you to find a family portrait at a shipwreck. It is quite easy to spot a family portrait once you know where to go. One option is to visit the shipwrecks at Shipwreck Cove, which is to the southeast of Catty Corner. Alternately, you can visit Crashed Cargo, west of Sweaty Sands. You only need to find one of the many family portraits at shipwrecks.
The family portraits stand out, as they are in a shiny gold frame, each containing an image of a different person. There are three Fortnite family portraits at Shipwreck Cove. You will find one portrait to the west of the area on the ground near a large rock and two wooden crates. You will find another portrait on the ground near an upside-down ship to the west of the landmark. The most difficult family portrait to track down is found in the northeast side of the landmark. It is hidden inside a bathtub, so it may not be obvious to see straight away.
Take the hunt for a family portrait to Crashed Cargo
If you prefer, you can find a family portrait at the Crashed Cargo landmark. There are two portraits in this area which you can find to complete the challenge. You will find the first portrait inside of a red shipping container. The final Fortnite family portrait is located directly next to the pile of wooden crates, laying on the ground.
To complete the challenge, all you have to do is approach one of them and interact. For your efforts, you will be awarded with 20,000 XP to go towards your battle pass. The beginning of a brand new season is not too far away. Therefore, it is important to rack up as much XP as possible before Epic Games introduces another action-packed season.
