The newest map to be released into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies is Firebase Z. You may have realized that… this is quite a big map, especially when compared to Die Maschine. Thankfully, one of Firebase Z’s more unique features will help you travel around the map much quicker. The jump pads in Firebase Z reduce the time you spend running around the map. To use one, all you need to do is to approach and interact with it. It will cost you a total of 500 points each for each use. In addition, it important to note that you can not use them straight away when you hop into a match — you will have to turn the power on first.
There are six jump pads for you to use around Firebase Z, and they are all labelled with a number. Each jump pad will take you to another specific pad. The first jump pad can be found in Jungle Defense, and it will take you all the way to Scorched Defense. Jump pad number two is inside Mission Control, and it takes you to Jungle Defense. The third is located close to Mission Control, allowing you to quickly travel to Rocky Defense. Taking jump pad number four on the second floor of Rocky Defense will see you land at Jungle Defense. Next, jump pad number five can be found inside of the Data Center, and it will take you to Scorched Defense. The sixth and final pad inside Jungle Defense, taking you to Rocky Defense.
Jumping all over the map
When you are jumping, you do not take fall damage, and there is no way for you to miss your landing. This way of travel is useful in many ways, such as helping you escape from the swarms of zombies that may be following you. Also, if you are trying to complete an Easter egg, you can move more quickly and efficiently around the map. Happy hopping.
