To start Genshin Impact‘s The Chalk Prince and the Dragon event, you’ll need to reach Adventure Rank 20, complete “For a Tomorrow Without Tears” (the part where the Traveler gets ready to face Stormterror), and finish “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter.”
For the sake of clarity, I’ve divided this Genshin Impact guide into multiple sections. You can refer to the pages below for the parts that you need help with:
- Starting quest: Princeps Cretaceus Chapter
- Event mechanics and event shop
- The Festering Desire sword: Abilities and rewards
- Act II update: Testing Grounds challenge and Glimmering Essence
- Act III update: Draconic Pilgrimage challenge and Warm Essence
- Act IV update: Frostborn Miracle and Miraculous Essence
Note 1: Subsequent acts and challenges will become available in the coming days. Make sure to bookmark this page since I’ll update the guide in due course.
Note 2: Genshin Impact‘s The Chalk Prince and the Dragon event runs from December 23 to January 5. Make sure you’re completing the challenges to acquire essences before the event ends.
