Let’s face it, Cyberpunk 2077 is a visually breathtaking game and you’re bound to enjoy its photo mode feature. Unfortunately, something feels lacking due to your character’s attire and, oftentimes, V might end up looking like a goof. Here’s our clothing and fashion guide to help you out.

Cyberpunk 2077: Clothing and fashion guide
The biggest problem in this case is that Cyberpunk 2077 lacks a transmogrification system. While clothing and armor pieces do provide stat boosts, you have no way of actually changing how each piece looks.
Given the previous trailer we’ve seen regarding Night City’s distinct fashion styles and trends, it’s disappointing when your gear’s a mishmash of incompatible shirts, helmets, and pants. That’s likely to happen especially if you’re keen on equipping stuff based on bonuses or rarity.
Anyway, one advice I can give you is to keep checking out Night City’s clothing vendors. If they don’t have something you like, simply exit the store and walk one street away. Then, skip time by 24 hours. Once you return, the vendor’s wares will be refreshed.
Additionally, if you’re keen on that techno-hacker (Netrunner) theme, try to find a Tactical Balaclava. This matches the Netrunner bodysuits you’ll get. Plus, if you have a long-haired character, then V’s hair won’t clip through clothing.
Here are some examples of Cyberpunk 2077 clothing pieces I prefer. I’ve also added an image to show how they’d look:
- Head – Ordinary Tactical Balaclava with Reactive Layering
- Face – Illegally Modified Military Infovisor
- Outerwear – Enhanced High Collar Vest
- Innerwear – Composite Arasaka Netrunning Nanoweave Suit
- Legs – None
- Feet – Militoxic Ceramic-Layer Combat Exo-Jacks (any high-cut reskin would do as long as it’s got dark colors)
Here’s another example where I simply changed the outerwear to the Koumori Synleather Trench Coat:
This one has the Armor-Quilted Jacket outerwear:
Now, to be clear, the two dark-colored Netrunner bodysuits are Arasaka and Aramid. The former just happens to have reddish trims that match the Military Infovisor I’m using.
Alternatively, you can use the blue bodysuit if you found a vendor selling it. Here’s a set showing V wearing it:
- Head – Steel Microplated Kabuto
- Face – Menpo with Protective Padding (you can also use another visor with a bluish or pinkish hue)
- Outerwear – Deadly Lagoon Armored Syn-Silk Pozer-Jacket
- Innerwear – Light Elastomer Netrunning Suit
- Legs – None
- Feet – Reinforced Sudo Biker Boots
For this last one, I used the following armor and clothing pieces:
- Head – Ordinary Tactical Balaclava with Reactive Layering
- Face – Aoi Tora Enhanced BD Wreath
- Outerwear – Urban Jungle High-Collar Reinforced Leather Vest
- Innerwear – Light Elastomer Netrunning Suit
- Legs – None
- Feet – Reinforced Uniwear Platform Boots
