Goats hate Nazis in new Kickstarter project

Eat your way to freedom, but only if you cough up $14k.
My fragile little mind can barely process the outlandish likes of Pikachu, Bayonetta and the idea that eating mushrooms makes you big. So, imagine when an email entitled GOATS VS NAZIS lands in my inbox… Two bottles of smelling salts and numerous trips to the toilet later and I’m still feeling dizzy.
Goats Vs. Nazis is the latest in a long-line of whacked out Kickstart projects in which independent developers try to fund their games through public donations. This particlar project is from Seattle, Washington’s Jim Welch, who is currently sitting on $730 of the requested $14,000.

In his own words, this is how Mr Welch will spend the money:
Please keep in mind this game will be given away for free. 14K (after taxes) keeps me fed and sheltered for the 1 year Full-time (50 hrs+ a week) development of this game. – 14K is cost, not profit. 😀    (My hope is there are roughly 3000 people across the net who find this project worth at least $5 of support.)
Welch’s game, if it goes ahead, using the NES engine and will be distributed digitally free of charge. 
A short feature list reads:

7 levels including: ‘Homeland Encampment’, ‘Bike Ride to Berlin’, and ‘Icecap Jumping.’
Password Progress System.
3 Difficulty Levels.
Eat helmets, guns, tin-cans, grass, etc. to restore health and recharge attacks.
Jammin’ NES chiptune soundtrack.
