It's like that show from the History Channel.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

After escaping the Cistern level and making your way through the oasis, you’ll eventually reach Amnesia: Rebirth‘s Alchemist’s Laboratory stage. There’s a puzzle here involving pyramids, orbs, and strange devices.

Amnesia: Rebirth – The Alchemist’s Laboratory and its puzzles

After getting past the initial rooms in Amnesia: Rebirth‘s Alchemist’s Laboratory level, you’ll spot a curious-looking pyramid on the floor. A beam of light passes through the pyramid, connecting mechanisms on the walls to open new doorways.

Anyway, pick up the pyramid in the small room and place it at the center of the larger room. This opens the door to the next area, the control center.

Inside the Laboratory’s control center, you’ll find a couple of even stranger devices. Don’t bother with these yet.

Instead, go to the room off to the side to pick up an orb inside a container.

There’s a desk in this room with another pyramid. Pick it up.

Bring this to the corridor next to the control center to open the door.

This leads to an open area where you need to pick up two glowing canisters.

The first one is inside the breathing apparatus (you need to pull the lever).

The other canister is inside one of the receptacles in the circular area.

Return to the control room and make sure you pick up the pyramid from the corridor.

Go near the pedestal in the center, pull its lever, and place the orb inside.

Match the symbols/glyphs on the other pedestals to the ones in the outer room — something that looks like an “F,” something that looks like a “cup,” and something that looks like a “dog.”

Use the panel to move the selection (seen below). Then, press the button. Beams will start emitting from the contraption.

Go near the other device (the one with a blue bubble). Place the two glowing canisters you found earlier in the indentations at the bottom of the device.

Next, place the pyramid inside the bubble. Hit the button.

Use the lever on the receptacle to power down the beams. Pull out the orb to remove the room’s seals.

Exit the Laboratory’s control center and sprint to the outer room with the glowing rift. Bring out your amulet and enter it to find yourself in one of Amnesia: Rebirth‘s transitional areas.

After getting past this part, you’ll find yourself at the Tomb level. I won’t spoil what goes on there, so let’s jump ahead to the game’s Portal Chamber area.
