Skyrim ready to pre-load on Steam

Steam and Direct2Drive have opened the flood gates and are now allowing interested parties to download 99% of the files required to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. According to the game’s requirements that will come to about six gigabytes of data.
Our Skyrim review is due to go live tomorrow (Thursday 10 November) at 1pm GMT / 8am EST. Trust us, you will want to read it. 
For now, you’ll have to satisfy yourselves with our most recent hands-on preview and interview with the game and the team at Bethesda.
