Normally, Humble Bundle only lets you pick up a few games from Humble Choice’s monthly selection and this is usually dependent on your chosen plan. For instance, a Classic or Premium subscriber could pick, say, nine out of 12 games that are being offered. This month is actually very different since August 2020’s Humble Choice lets Premium and Classic subscribers grab all the options that are available.

Humble Choice August 2020: Vampyr, Call of Cthulhu, Hello Neighbor, and more

Vampyr headlines this month’s offering. The horror RPG from Dontnod Entertainment puts you in the shoes of Dr. Jonathan Reid — a man of science by day, and a preying monstrosity by night. As the titular Vampyr, you must survive the streets of London, coming to grips with your supernatural capabilities, all while taking note of the repercussions of your actions.

Now, if you want more otherworldly horrors, there’s also Call of Cthulhu from Cyanide Studio. Andrew Farrell praised Call of Cthulhu‘s atmosphere, story, and environments. However, he criticized the full-priced game for its short length and lack of replay value. So, perhaps this is your chance to obtain it if you’re a Humble Choice subscriber and you were on the fence before.

Adding to the horror vibes is none other than Hello Neighbor from Dynamic Pixels. This is a stealth game where you need to sneak around your neighbor’s house to find what he’s hiding in the basement. Hello Neighbor‘s AI also adapts based on your actions leading to an air of suspense. Grabbing this game via Humble Choice also nets you Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek which acts as a prequel to the events of the original game.

August 2020’s Humble Choice also has Genesis Alpha One, a sci-fi FPS rogue-lite. Likewise, there’s Through the Darkest of Times, a strategy sim hybrid where you need to organize a resistance against the Nazis.

Rounding out the rest of the month’s offerings are Little Big Workshop, Automachef, Wargroove, American Fugitive, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, We Were Here Together, and A Cast of Distrust. You can learn more about this month’s titles via Humble Bundle’s website.
