Like it or not, the Epic Games Store just keeps chugging along. Today, they’ve announced a bunch of new titles that’ll be coming to the store very soon. Along with the news, there’s also a trailer showing the goods off.
In case you don’t feel like watching that, here’s a list of everything:
Samurai Shodown
One of Epic’s biggest gets for this round of exclusives is the PC port of last year’s new Samurai Shodown title. This title serves as a prequel to the series’ first game, taking place one year before it in the timeline. With high-end visuals, it strives to recreate the gameplay and atmosphere fans of this series have loved for so long.
Among Trees
Originally announced for Steam Early Access in 2018, Among Trees is a sandbox-based survival game, albeit one set in a wilderness packed with color. The game is going to be in first-person and looks very lovely indeed. You’ll need to build structures to keep yourself alive, as well as eat and stay warm. You can also cook and grow crops. I’m actually kind of excited for this one.
Control – Foundations DLC
This DLC sees our favorite new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, Jesse Faden, move through the caverns of The Foundation for the purposes of stopping the Astral Plain from consuming the Oldest House. If you were a fan of the main game, you’ll probably want to check this out too. It comes out in just a couple of days, on March 26.
Dread Nautical
The luxury cruise liner known as The Hope is in dire straits! The ship has been overrun by supernatural beings. In Dread Nautical, you’ll pick from one of four characters and explore all 20 of the ship’s decks while doing your utmost to survive. You’ll be able to find a dozen survivors and can choose who to bring with you. But you’ll need to choose carefully.
Industries of Titan
Epic’s next get, Industries of Titan, is more of a city builder. You’ll build an industrial city and compete with other houses to build companies, ships, and other things in order to get a leg up on the competition. The twist? It’s all set on Titan, the moon of Saturn. I’m not one for strategy games, so don’t even ask me about this one.
Saturnalia
Ready for more survival-horror? Saturnalia sees you take control of an entire group of characters as they explore a mysterious village that dabbles in the occult. When all of your characters die, everything changes completely, so it sounds like rogue-lite elements will come into play, too.
Sludge Life
A first-person tagging game? Sign me up. In Sludge Life, you play as a tagger in an open-world that’s covered in nasty grime on account of corporate pollution. You’re free to interact with other characters and tag up the world as you see fit.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service
Totally Reliable Delivery Service has four-player co-op and focuses on, well, delivering things. Go figure. It’s set in an interactive sandbox and has ragdoll physics, so goofy times will surely be had by all.
It looks like the Epic Games Store will keep bringing some great titles throughout the year. Make sure to check back as spring rolls on, as we’ll likely have coverage of many of them. I just hope nobody asks me to handle any of the strategy games.
