Co-op is so popular nowadays that it was only going to be a matter of time before someone attempted to craft a Skyrim mod to support it. ‘Skyrim Online’ is a user-created mod aiming to do just that – allowing you to quest, trade and chat with other players.
Wave based modes are also popular, so it comes as no surprise that the Skyrim Online release notes state that the mod “also includes an Arena to fight with waves of creeps.”
Skyrim Online is available for PC players to download now (via Skyrim Nexus) but be warned that it’s still in alpha and far from complete. For example, movement of any player other than the host is still very shaky and make playing difficult.
If you do decide to install the mod in its current state, be sure to read the instructions thoroughly. Skyrim Online will overwrite your current config files, so be sure to back those up prior to installation.
