Apple’s App Store No Longer Has ‘Free’ Games – Just Get Games

Following pressure from consumers, Apple has replaced the wording on the free to play titles on their App Store.

Instead of getting free games, the button now says you can simply Get Games.

Apple is reacting preemptively to the pressure brought to Google to stop using the word ‘free’ for freemium and free to play applications in their app store. Both companies have paid huge for many instances when children were lured in to pay huge on microtransactions while playing these games.
