Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is in full swing. With the Garden of Salvation raid and Vex Invasion event launching this Saturday, lots of Guardians are grinding and leveling up to get ready for the endgame. Funnily enough, there’s an exploit/glitch that can truly help you out as you go beyond the 900 power level soft cap. It involves the Reckoning and, for some reason, it only benefits your Titan alts.
Note 1: Since the exploit immensely helps out Titans, this can be a hassle if you already leveled up your Titan first. Ideally, you’d want to reach the highest possible power level first on your Warlock. To do that, go ahead and take a look at our leveling guide.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep – Reckoning power level exploit for Titans
The punchy bois are finally getting some love in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. This exploit/glitch was initially reported by pro player Sweatcicle — or, at least I haven’t seen anyone else mention it earlier, so all credits go to him.
The way this glitch works is that you’ll want to use your Warlock who should be at a high enough power level (apparently this won’t work if you use a Hunter). Start up a tier 1 Reckoning activity as this is only possible in this difficulty. Wager any of your tier 1/green motes in the bank and go do the activity as normal. In case you forgot how things go, check out our Reckoning guide.
When the activity’s over, prepare for a surprise. Somehow, the tier 1 Reckoning completion just gave you Titan items instead. Even better, these items are at or near your base power level!
Your base power level is what’s currently shown on your character screen minus the bonus added by the Gate Lord’s Eye Artifact. For instance, my Warlock is currently 923 power (with a +6 bonus from the Gate Lord’s Eye Artifact). This means my base power level is actually 917 PL.
After a few tier 1 Reckoning runs, I found myself with a full set of Illicit armor at around 915-917 PL. My Titan — which hasn’t done Destiny 2: Shadowkeep‘s story, any of the activities with powerful gear drops, and without spending any resource or material — is now starting out at 922 power level!
That does it for this leveling exploit in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. I guess the Garden of Salvation raid will be filled with Titans just ready to punch stuff. If you want to get a leg up, be sure to do this exploit soon since it’s guaranteed to get patched.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now available on Steam. Don’t forget, we also have our guides and features hub to help you out with other concerns.
