Devolver Digital has been on a heck of a ride lately. The publisher has managed to amass a variety of games, including the recently released My Friend Pedro. If you’ve been waiting to pick up any one of their titles, it might be time to browse Steam. The publisher has a number of games that will see heavy discounts this weekend on the digital storefront.
There’s a little something for everyone
It looks like there is a mix of tastes available at a discount when it comes to Devolver Digital titles. For retro Ninja Gaiden fans, there’s The Messenger, which currently has a 33 percent markdown. That puts it at US$13.39, down from its usual $19.99 price point. A bundle for it is also available, which includes the base game and soundtrack. The discount also applies to this package, with it seeing a price point just shy of 20 bucks ($19.78).
Other games, such as Gris, see much deeper discounts. That one has received a 40 percent markdown, putting it at $10.19. A member of the PC Invasion team, Andrew, reviewed Gris, stating, “It’s a lovely game that has a lot to say and a lot of beauty to share in a short amount of time.”
Silliness on discount
If you’re looking for something a bit more on the silly side of things – especially if you’re broken up after playing Gris – you could take a look at Weedcraft Inc (30 percent off) and My Friend Pedro (25 percent off).
Devolver Digital has also had some light announcements stemming from PAX West in Seattle. The studio has been providing small updates on its social media channels. So, if you feel inclined, you can watch their Twitter feed, as they’ve had some videos go live from the show floor. That’s exactly how I found out about their publisher sale going on this weekend on Steam.
