Dead Cells is its own genre: RogueVania. Traverse through an ever-changing castle as you tackle seemingly insurmountable odds. Well, a lot are going to be insurmountable at first — you’ll need to actually get better at the game to progress! Shocking! Unlock new paths, new areas, permanent upgrades, and more as you platform your way through one of the best MetroidVanias out there.

• RogueVania: The progressive exploration of an interconnected world, with the replayability of a rogue-lite and the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath.
• 2D Souls-lite Action: Tough but fair combat, more than fifty weapons and spells with unique gameplay, and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble.
