Flappy Bird returning, with – Gasp – multiplayer

Dong Nguyen has confirmed that the infamous viral hit Flappy Bird is coming back soon.

Not only that, but the game is returning with multiplayer, and less addictive gameplay.

Flappy Bird will return with multi-player capabilities, app developer @dongatory tells CNBC. It won't be as addictive, Dong says.

Of course, people are going crazy speculating on what changes have come to the game, but for now, perhaps we should just take heart that Nguyen did not completely lose heart, and is now back to making games.
