Zenimax has come clean with the delay of Elder Scrolls Online on consoles. To sweeten the pot for disappointed fans, they have arranged a special deal for PC players to get a discount, when they eventually switch over to consoles.
So development for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions will take another six months, mainly because they are still building up the online systems for both games. They decided to come up with the discount to appease players who can’t wait.
Here’s how it works. If you buy the game anytime between now and the last day of June, you will be eligible for the discount. When the console versions are ready, you will need only pay £12.99 to switch over to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You will be able to carry over you saves and character data as well. Plus, there will be an extra 30 days game time, pro bono.
