Larian’s excellent RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 is hitting consoles this summer as the Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition and there’s good news for PC gamers.
If you own Divinity Original Sin 2, the game will be updated to the Definitive Edition for free when it released this August on consoles. Talking about the changes coming to the Definitive Edition, Swen Vincke, Founder of Larian Studios says that the, “Definitive Edition will become one of the best RPG experiences available across the platforms. Changes and additions in the Definitive Edition are about 45 pages long”. Expect some very lengthy patch notes when this lands.
Players can also expect new content although Larian has not been specific about the changes and additions coming in this update. A trailer for the Xbox One version of the game can be seen below giving an insight into changes to the feedback system to help console players with a fully voiced character called Billy.
Watch out for the update on PC this August.
