With the teases out the way, Square has lifted the lid on what to expect from Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

In this next installment, Lara is on a mission to save the world from a Maya apocalypse which explains all the jungle action in the teaser trailer. Camilla Luddington also makes her return as Lara Croft and this will be the end of her origins story.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will challenge Lara Croft in new and unexpected ways,” said David Anfossi, Head of Studio at Eidos-Montréal. “Our team has created a diverse set of skills, combat techniques and equipment for players to master, and they’ll certainly need them if they hope to survive the deadly jungle environments and tombs.”

PC pre-orders are already being taken and the ‘Croft Edition’ comes with the Season Pass costing £67.99.
