With the Steam sale now on until 4 January, there most popular games that have sold in 2017 are dominating the top ten this week. GTA V takes the second spot, and after scooping all kinds of end of year awards, Divinity: Original Sin 2 sits in fourth. Strategy They are Billions slips slightly this week but is still managing fifth despite the Steam sale.

The lower half of the Steam chart includes top ten regulars such as Dark Souls 3, The Witcher 3, and ARK. Cuphead is another game that’s scooped all kinds of awards so that manages to stay in the top ten in eighth place.

The success of the battle royale genre and PUBG has been quite something but we’ll have to wait and see if PC gamers grow tired of it in 2018. There’s no indication of that happening yet following PUBG concurrent user records being broken over the holidays.

Here’s the run-down of the final Steam top sellers of 2017.
