Rockstar rejigs Max Payne 3 DLC schedule

How do you make an already crowded DLC schedule even more confusing? Simple: you reorganise it on the fly. Rockstar has announced that rather than six forthcoming DLC add-ons, there will now only be four (with the bits and pieces from the other two integrated into some of the others).

Here’s the easiest, clearest part. The forthcoming ‘Disorganized Crime’ pack, which features a “battle above the streets surrounding Max’s old apartment in the new Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map” and modifiers to Score Attack Mode, will be completely free to everyone when it’s released in August. So don’t worry about that one.

Now, here is the new release schedule and pricing for the other three:

Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £7.29 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
Painful Memories Map Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £7.29 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £7.29 (PlayStation Network and PC)]

The co-op aspects from the ‘New York Minute Pack’ are now part of the ‘Deathmatch Made in Heaven’ pack. Maps from the ‘Trickle Down Economics’ map pack will now be spread across the other two map sets.

If you bought a Max Payne 3 ‘season pass’, you’ll still get access to all of the above at no additional cost. Passes are still available at 2400 MS Points or £20 GBP, so if you’re interested in all of the DLC this is the cheapest way to get it.
