Oculus has announced quite the new hire today. Kenneth Scott, formerly of id Software, and a founder of Halo devs 343 Industries, has joined the company.
Oculus also revealed that Scott will help build up the company’s 1st party studio. With Kenneth’s background as an art director, this holds the promise of visually striking Oculus Rift games indeed.
Welcome Kenneth Scott (@superactionfunb), Oculus Art Director, formerly of 343 and id Software. Ken is building our 1st-party content team!

Of course, as we had just noted, it seems id software is having its troubles, and Kenneth may have simply joined other former id devs into the company. Can we expect id-like games out of Oculus in the next few months? We look forward to finding out and reporting it for you.
