According to The Verge, Microsoft is testing a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 to put on its Xbox 360. Although the console currently has Bing search integrated, it is limited to media results. With Internet Explorer 9, the Xbox 360 will have a full browser available.

Microsoft is also bringing Kinect voice controls and gestures to the web browser, though a Kinect will not be mandatory to control Internet Explorer 9.

There is no word of an official release date yet but we are likely to get more details during E3.
