Steep getting an Olympic-themed expansion

Ubisoft’s winter sports-themed game is getting a Winter Olympics-themed expansion later this year, with Steep: Road to the Olympics.

Road to the Olympics is coming out on 5 December, a little way before the PyeongChang Winter Olympics themselves, and will feature a host of events. Pausing the trailer below repeatedly, I can tell you that Downhill, Snowboard Cross, Slopestyle, Ski Cross, Halfpipe, Parallel Giant Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, Big Air, Slalom, and Ski Halfpipe are all mentioned.

Considering one of the common complaints aimed at Steep was that it was a bit aimless, this might actually fix some of its problems. We’ll find out more in December, I suppose!
