Sword Coast Legends sheathed until October

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

A slight delay for the PC version of Sword Coast Legends, which will now be coming on 20 October (rather than the end of September). That’s a fairly minor delay compared to the consoles, which now won’t get the game until “Q1 2016”.

The D&D-based party RPG ran an Early Access-ish ‘Head Start’ for those who’d pre-ordered the game, and it seems like critiques and feedback from that session have prompted a bit more development time.

“The decision to delay the launch of Sword Coast Legends was not an easy one to make, but after receiving feedback from our dedicated community, it became clear that a few more weeks of polish would provide our customers with the best possible experience,” says Sword Coast Legends director Dan Tudge.

Those who pre-ordered the game (whether they played any ‘Head Start’ stuff or not) will be getting a DLC pack called “Rage of Demons” for free, by way of thanks.
