CD Projekt Red’s ‘summer conference’ is in full swing as I write this, and the team has just revealed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold (to date) 1.7 million copies worldwide in its various incarnations.
To celebrate, CD Projekt’s sister site GoG.com will be putting the game on sale for the next week. At 40% off, it’ll be retailing for $30.00 USD.
In addition, the developer has announced that 23 August will see a fully localised version of The Witcher 2 released in Japan. So all you Japanese citizens who’ve been waiting for that need just hang on a couple more months.
