Carrier Command: Gaea Mission docks in September

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Bohemia Interactive’s remake of the classic 1988 title Carrier Command will be released on 27 September for both PC and Xbox 360. Like the original, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will offer a mixture of first and third person action (as you control your drones in attacks on island targets) and a fair bit of strategy (keeping yourself supplied and armed).
Marek Špan?l, Bohemia’s CEO and founder, took a fair amount of inspiration from the original game. “I and my brother Ondrej were addicted to playing Carrier Command on our Atari ST. In fact, it was what inspired us to develop games ourselves”, he say.
I had a chance to play a beta version of this remake, so if you fancy reading what I thought about it follow this handy link to the piece.
