“Trusted sources” claim to have seen TimeSplitters 4 running, according to the latest issue of the UK’s OXM magazine.
TimeSplitters 4 has been rumoured for some time, but has not been officially announced. This latest rumour only adds further fuel to the belief that Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical) are working on developing the game.
“Trusted OXM sources have claimed that they’ve seen TimeSplitters 4 running. That’s no guarantee that it’ll be released – at least one version of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was cancelled without ever being announced – but it’s a promising sign.
“If we do get a proper sequel, we’re likely to see the old games appear, too,” writes OXM.
The last TimeSplitters was released way back in 2005, when TimeSplitters: Future Perfect luanched on Xbox, PS2 and GameCube.
