Resident Evil 6 jumping out earlier than expected [Video]

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

New information and video coming out of Capcom’s Captivate event in Rome has revealed that Resident Evil 6 will be pulling a slightly earlier jump-scare and is now set for a 2 October release. Previous reports had placed it in November.
Further info-snippets have confirmed that the main narrative will focus on three pairs of characters; Leon Kennedy will pair up with US agent Helena Harper; Chris Redfield will join with fellow BSAA member Piers Nivans; and Albert Wesker’s mercenary son Jake Mueller will find himself alongside Sherry Birkin, the daughter of two Umbrella scientists.
You can also expect the zombies in this entry to be able to run, jump and even use weapons. One such zombie foe, the J’avo, has the ability to regenerate when injured.
