H1Z1 has just been given its very own test server where Daybreak will be pushing live early builds for QA purposes. Players who own the game can now find the Test Server in their Steam Library and it needs to be installed separately. Just check your list on the left and you’ll find it there.

Daybreak explain why this new server has been launched:

“With your help we should be able to push out much more stable builds. Keep an eye on Reddit and Twitter for when we push a new build to the Test Server and what is going onto it.

“Participating in the Test Server is totally on a volunteer basis but the more people who do test a build, the better it will be. Thanks in advance for the people who want to participate.”

With Early Access you are effectively already testing an incomplete build but this H1Z1 new server is being dubbed as “Early Early Access” by Daybreak. It’s a similar model that’s been employed by Bohemia for DayZ but there’s less messing about with this as it’s a complete separate install.

All we need now is Early Early Early Access which might stop broken games appearing on Steam at launch.
