The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt goes gold

CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now done, and has gone gold.

Not much else to say, I’m afraid, except that the game itself will be in your hot little hands on 19 May, and now that it’s gone gold it’s highly unlikely we’ll see any more delays. So: woo.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt once more puts you into the battle-worn shoes of Geralt of Rivia, professional monster hunter, as he travels a war-torn open world in search of the Child of Prophecy. A recently uploaded video gave a fairly in-depth overview of the sort of stuff you can get up to in the game itself, so rather than recap everything about exploring/swimming/talking/fighting/brawling/gambling/questing, I’ll just link back to that and suggest you check it out if you haven’t already. It’s really rather good.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due out on 19 May.
