Mortal Kombat X has a story, and this trailer proves it

Story appears to be a rather important part of Mortal Kombat X, if this trailer is any indication.

Netherrealm appear to like their fighting game stories. Mortal Kombat 9 had a big (and rather decent) one interweaved throughout, and Injustice managed a fairly entertaining yarn alongside its BIFF KAPOW shenanigans. If this trailer – revolving around a rebel army, a mystical amulet, and a whole lot of violence – is any indication, then Mortal Kombat X seems like it’s carrying on the tradition.

Mortal Kombat X is due to hit (and possibly decapitate, or use its spine as dental floss, or something) the PC on 14 April. Trailer below!
