The sequel will see you taking control of an aircraft over a battered Europe during the intense air battles of WWII and engaging in dogfights and bombing runs to try and make the Allied campaign a success.

“The Heroes series has brought some of the world’s most exciting air battles in history to gamers all over the world, and Heroes over Europe builds on the series’ impressive legacy with highly detailed realistic visual presentation and an even deeper online experience,” said Cyril Voiron, VP brand management, Atari.

There will be multiplayer for up to 16 players too, as well as a new engine and unique game modes.

So if you’ve ever wanted to fly a Mustang, a Spitfire or even the unsung hero, the Hurricane, this might be just what you’re looking for.  The game promises to have ultra realistic c**pits and impeccable scenery.
