Fox Atomic have partnered with Zombie Studios and Union Entertainment to create a game, movie, and comic book franchise.
Blacklight is a “covert military action epic” set 25 years in the future. The film and the video game are both being written by the same person – Jason Dean Hall, who wrote recent sex comedy Spread, and who’s apparently working on various bits and piece for both Dreamworks and Universal.
No details yet on systems, release dates, or even on the game itself, save that all three products will have unique storylines that intersect with each other, while retaining the same characters.
Being that movie tie-ins are usually awful, the fact that this franchise is being designed across three mediums from the ground up can only be a good thing.
