It’s no surprise that Madden, FIFA and Battlefield will be making their way onto next-gen consoles. These games have become staples of console gaming and couldn’t pass up the launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Along will the support of these best-sellers, newer titles like NBA LIVE 14 and Need for Speed: Rivals will also tack on to the confirmed launch into the new age.

Putting our next-gen titles into the hands of gamers for the first time this week is what we’ve been working towards for more than two years,” said Patrick Soderlund, EVP, EA Studios. “Each of our launch titles delivers massive gameplay innovation: we’ve got the best shooter on next-gen, three sports titles that will make you feel the action like never before, and a racing game that blends single-player and multiplayer into one connected world. Once you play next-gen, it will be hard to imagine playing anything else.

If you are currently playing Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 or Madden 25 on a current-gen console and set to buy a PS4 or Xbox One–you’re in luck. EA is offering upgrades for select titles. The PlayStation 4 is slated to launch November 15, a week prior to the Xbox One on November 22, 2013. Games like Call of Duty: Ghosts and Killzone: Shadow Fall are currently available for purchase at retailers.
