5 best loadouts in Warzone Meta Season 6

Dominate the competition in Season 6.

Warzone is an ever-shifting battleground where the best weapons are constantly changing, thanks to balance patches. It can be frustrating to see the gun you spent hours building fall into irrelevance, but it does keep the game fresh. The downside to this system is if you take a break, you have no idea what’s good when you return. That weapon that dominated squads in one season could fire marshmallows in the next. If you want to ensure that doesn’t happen to you, let me show you the five best loadouts in Warzone Meta Season 6.

Depending on the map, different weapons compete for their spot at the top. Every loadout below features a great set of attachments, but you’ll need to play to their strengths. The Iso 9mm SMG build will be more suitable for close-range engagements than the Geist Assault Rifle, for example.

Iso 9mm

We’ve done an in-depth build guide for this weapon, but here are the recommended attachments:

  • Barrel: 9″ PTX Trainer
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Muzzle: XRK Sandstorm
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

The Iso 9mm is a decent SMG and feels similar to other powerhouses in the category, like the Lachmann Sub. You’d expect SMGs to offer high mobility, and you definitely get that with the Iso 9mm. The 50-round Drum Mag is mandatory on this build, and the reload speed is fast. The Iso 9mm is easy to use and shreds up close — everything you could ask for in a cracking SMG.

Lockwood 300

We’ve got an in-depth ‘One Shot Kill’ guide for this weapon, but here are the attachments.

  • Laser – VLK LZR 7MW
  • Stock – Heist Stock Mod
  • Ammunition – 12 Gauge Explosive
  • Trigger Action – Maelstrom Dual Trigger
  • Muzzle – Sakin DB107

The Maelstrom Dual Trigger is what makes and breaks this weapon. The Trigger gives the Lockwood 300 One Shot Kill potential at disgusting ranges for a Shotgun. This kill potential is in Warzone, too, where players have armor! During Warzone’s lifespan, we’ve seen dozens of ‘broken’ builds, and you can safely add the Lockwood 300 to the list. The nerf hammer may hit this weapon at some point, so enjoy it while you can.

BAS-P

The BAS-P has been a ‘middle of the pack’ SMG for a while but got a chunky buff for Season 6. Guns like the Iso 9mm will still delete you up close, but the BAS-P has a considerable range increase and can compete in areas it never could before. Here are the attachments I recommend:

  • Barrel: 6.5″ Bruen Drake
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Stock: Bruen Flash V4 STO
  • Optic: SZ Mini (Personal preference)
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW

These attachments grant buffs to ADS speed, and the extended magazine means you’ll feel more comfortable spraying at range. For clearing buildings, the BAS-P is a force to be reckoned with. The floor loot version is decent, too, although it only gives 30 rounds to play with.

TR-76 Geist

Players are spoiled for choice for decent Assault Rifles in Warzone. If you like the good ol’ Kastov 7.62, you’ll enjoy the TR-76 Geist. This assault rifle does a ton of damage if you can stomach the recoil. We’ve made an in-depth guide that explains these attachment choices:

  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Muzzle: TY-LR8 or Echoline GS-X
  • Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Optic: SZ Mini (Personal preference)

These attachments help us tame the TR-76’s Recoil, which is pretty brutal otherwise. I’m a sucker for sound suppression; hence the Echoline GS-X recommendation, but the TY-LR8 is better stat-wise. If you can land your shots, this Assault Rifle deletes players insanely fast and is worth getting used to.

MCPR

The MCPR is arguably the best Sniper Rifle for Season 6 and can kill in a single hit. Sniper Rifles have obvious disadvantages, but the ability to immediately erase opponents at range is insanely powerful. If you want to make your opponents seethe with rage, here are the attachments:

  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Barrel: 19″ Silentfire Barrel
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Schlager Night View
  • Ammunition: .300 Mag Incendiary

Incendiary Ammunition can comfortably kill with a single shot to the head. These rounds are faster than the Explosive option, making them easier to use. The Night View Optic may seem like an odd choice, but hear me out. Fog is a real problem for Sniping, especially on Vondel. The Schlager Night View fixes that and is fine for other maps when you’re used to it.

These are my meta picks for Warzone Season 6. There are plenty of solid SMGs and Assault Rifles, but don’t overlook niche picks like the Sniper Rifle.

What Equipment should I use?

You can make any equipment work in Warzone, but here are my picks:

  • Lethal: Drill Charge
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

I push fights whenever I can, and Drill Charges let me flush out campers and give anyone who’s cowering indoors a nasty surprise. If you’re more of a passive player, you can’t go wrong with a trusty Frag Grenade or Semtex.

Smoke Grenades have been top-tier for a while in Warzone. The ability to conceal your position on maps with wide-open areas is incredibly strong. If you can get into the habit of throwing smoke when you’re caught in the open, you’ll survive many more fights.
