Coming in 2016
Dreadnought (Yager): 2016
Yager (developers of the entirely different Spec Ops: The Line) invite players to command huge capital ships in both multiplayer and single player settings. In closed beta since April 2016. May appear before the year’s end.

Everspace (Rockfish): 2016
Described as a having a unique non-linear story, Everspace is a rogue-like space action game at its core. Players will find themselves waking up on a battleship somewhere in the galaxy and are given a “mysterious command” to head to a specific location. As the adventure progresses player will need to discover the origins of their existence while taking on hostile forces in space comabt. Meanwhile in order to survive there will be the opportunity to gather fuel and raw materials to carry out ship upgrades.
Frozen Synapse 2 (Mode 7): 2016
The innovative turn-based tactics game gets a sequel in 2016. At the time of writing it’s only just been announced, so there’s not a whole lot more info.
Get Even (The Farm 51): 2016
Get Even is a bit of a looker, and is promising a different style of FPS where they hope to “remove the artificial boundary between modes of single and multiplayer.” In other words, the AI will be replaced with real players in the single player campaign mode. There’s also VR support.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (Ninja Theory): 2016
The 2014 Gamescom reveal of Hellblade always made a PC version seem fairly likely, and that’s now official. Ninja Theory’s latest melee-combat focused title should be on our platform in 2016, with confirmed mod support.
Hob (Runic Games): 2016
Runic Games leave Torchlight behind to create a new horgeous looking puzzle adventure where players are challenged to “transform the nature of the world itself” . There’s also an emphasis on exploration with a dose of combat thrown in for good measure.
Iron Fish (Beefjack and Dean Edwards): 2016
Ever wonder about what lies beneath the deep blue sea? Then Beefjack and Dean Edwards’ underwater stealth/survival horror/explore-’em-up might be up your canal. Explore the ocean bed and uncover terrible secrets with only your wits, a scanner, and a submersible, while avoiding the threat of carnivorous sea-life… and perhaps something more eldritch. Originally due in Q1 of 2016, but now seems to have swum off somewhere. May still reappear in 2016. May not.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord (Taleworlds): 2016
The full-fledged sequel to Mount & Blade is much-anticipated around these parts. Whether it’ll still make a proposed 2016 release window isn’t entirely clear, but until we officially hear otherwise it stays in the ’16 slot.
Paragon (Epic): 2016
Paul’s most treasured object of desire is getting an open beta on 16 August, so a late 2016 release is still quite possible for Epic’s MOBA.
Paladins: Champions of the Realm (Hi-Rez Studios)
Hi-Rez Studios’ team based shooter. The game is currently in beta testing as of December 2015.
Road Redemption (Dark Seas Interactive): 2016
Road Redemption can be seen as the sequel to the late 90’s Road Rash console series. Developed by Dark Seas Interactive and successfully funded on Kickstarter back in May 2013, the game is currently in Early Access on Steam. It’s been there for a good long while, but might see a full release in 2016.
Spellforce 3 (Grimlore Games): 2016
The Spellforce series has a long history and this latest instalment is being developed by Grimlore Games. The story takes place before Spellforce: The Order of Dawn which was released way back in 2003 and the development team includes members who worked on Spellforce 2. You can expect the usual mix of RPG and strategy with single player, co-op and online play.
Terraria: Otherworld (Re-Logic): 2016
Terraria: Otherworld didn’t make the 2015 launch window because “the game is not ready yet” and they will only release a game if they feel it meets their “standards”. The studio is apparently working on a few new titles, some of which are yet to be announced, but the plan is to get Terraria: Otherworld completed and released in 2016.
Wreckfest (Bugbear): 2016
Bugbear’s racer has been in Early Access since 2014 but we expect this destruction derby style game to be finished in 2016. So far it’s looking very promising.
