10 Scariest monsters in Lethal Company, ranked

A terrifying bunch o' creatures.

This co-op indie horror game has some of the most terrifying creatures in recent gaming memory. We’re showcasing a ranked list of the 10 scariest monsters in Lethal Company.

While some monsters are pretty tame and won’t make you jump out of your seat, others will frighten you to your core. Let’s rank them from least to most scary.

10. Snare Flea

Although these little bugs don’t seem all that scary at first, have you tried being suffocated by one? Snare Fleas will sneak up on you, just to wrap itself around your face and suffocate you.

This can make for sudden jump scares and will have your friends attempting to hit them off of your face. As someone who hates the idea of the face hugger in the Alien franchise, I don’t want to mess with this Snare Flea.

9. Earth Leviathan

If you’re ever wandering outside of a moon and hear a low rumbling, you’re probably dead in the next few seconds. The Earth Leviathan is an enormous earthworm that burrows itself into the ground and pounces out of nowhere.

Because of how large these are, there’s no escape if you’re in their vicinity. If you’re frightened of extremely large monsters, you’ll hate this giant worm.

8. Forest Keeper

These are another type of monster you can find lurking outside of facilities. These giant creatures will stomp around, can see through fog, and won’t hesitate to kill you.

Seeing the Forest Keeper’s hulking figure stalk over to you is terrifying. You can attempt to hide, but they’re pretty good at spotting you from far away.

7. Eyeless Dog

I personally really don’t like these freaks, simply because they’ll pop out of nowhere and force you to be silent. The Eyeless Dog is blind but has exceptional hearing. Don’t speak, because they’ll hear you.

While you may think you’re sneaking away and hiding perfectly, it’s very hard getting away from this blind creature. And have you seen their mouth etched with sharp teeth?

6. Bracken

You’ll almost never see this one coming. The Bracken will sneak up on your teammate, just to snap their neck and drag them away.

There are countless times now that I’ve been victim to a Bracken, as well as seeing my friend getting taken by one. If you’re afraid of monsters in the dark, this shadow man is one to be feared.

5. Thumper

Now we’re starting to get to the seriously screwed-up monsters. The Thumper is an aggressive carnivorous creature who can run fast and tear through anyone in their way.

With a danger level of 90%, I’d be terrified to know a Thumper is nearby. You’ll nearly always end up running and screaming away from this creature.

4. Jester

This is why I hate jack-in-the-boxes. Jesters are two-legged jack-in-the-boxes who will run up to you, wind up, and then pop out their terrifying heads.

If you’ve ever experienced a Jester sprinting towards you with their terrifying visages, you probably know why this is high on the list. They can seriously screw up your run.

3. Bunker Spider

As someone who has a fear of spiders, the Bunker Spider is a big no for me. You’ll know one is nearby when you spot webs stretching across hallways.

If you end up in one of its webs, you’ll soon hear it crawling towards you. These giant tarantula creatures are disgusting, and I’m absolutely terrified of being around them.

2. Coil Head

While you may not think the Coil Head is very scary, as a Doctor Who fan who has seen her fair share of Weeping Angels, I don’t mess with the Coil Heads.

They only move when you’re not looking. And when you are, they have a terrifying spring neck that just makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It’s hard escaping from any Coil Head you find.

Lethal Company The Ghost Girl

1. Ghost Girl

Any monster that has to do with dolls or little children is frightening. The fact that only one player at a time can see the Ghost Girl haunting and stalking them makes this take the number one spot on the ranking.

Try not to scream if you see a girl in a red dress skipping towards you because that image in itself is scary enough. If you hear giggling or heavy breathing down the hall, you better run.
