Warcraft movie delayed until June 2016

Legendary issued an updated release date list today, which shows the Warcraft film being pushed back.

The Warcraft movie was originally expected on 11 March 2016 but has now been pushed back (albeit not that far) to June 2016 by the chaps in charge of scheduling at Legendary. This change takes the movie into the summer release schedule which usually includes Jennifer Aniston romantic comedies and kids films.

Legendary has not revealed why the movie has been delayed but we can only assume it needs more editing time or they feel that a summer release would be more beneficial for box office sales.

Warcraft fans will have to sit tight a little longer for Duncan Jones’ Azeroth recreation but there will probably be another ten marvel movies released before then anyway to keep everyone happy.
