Stellar Blade Simple Puzzle solution

That's quick maths.

When you reach the town of Xion in Stellar Blade and get access to the bulletin board for side quests, you’ll come across a request titled Simple Puzzle.

Unlike the other requests from Xion residents in Stellar Blade, this side quest requires you to solve a brain teaser involving seemingly random sequences of numbers. There’s no need to sharpen your blade for this one. Instead, you’ll need to sharpen your mind. This is a frustrating puzzle for most though, so here’s how to solve it.

How to Solve the Simple Puzzle in Stellar Blade

The Simple Puzzle quest in Stellar Blade asks you to deduce the correct code for the input device at the elevator to the Presence Chamber. It gives you the following numerical sequences as a hint.

  • 4@7@8 = 285684
  • 9@3@5 = 271542
  • 6@2@7 = 121426
  • 5@6@7 = ?

To solve this puzzle, you have to figure out what mathematical operations are being performed by the “@” symbol. To save you the trouble, here’s what you need to do. The first two digits of the output are determined by multiplying the first two digits of the input. The next two digits of the output are obtained by multiplying the last two digits of the input. Finally, the last two digits of the output are the sum of the other two answers.

For example, the first sequence is 4@7@8. Four times seven is 28, seven times eight is 56, and 28 plus 56 equals 84. That’s why the output is 285684.

Given the input 5@6@7, the correct answer for the Simple Puzzle quest in Stellar Blade is 304272. With that code in mind, make your way over to the Presence Chamber elevator on the northern side of Xion. There’s a keypad hidden on one of the pillars near the elevator, and that’s where you need to input the code.

That’s all you need to do to finish the Simple Puzzle side quest in Stellar Blade. You’ll get some Gold and two Vitcoins as a reward. It’s not a huge reward, but at least it’s something. Now you can continue slicing and dicing your way through Naytibas in the main storyline. Make sure you’ve addressed Stellar Blade’s input lag problem if it’s affecting you, though.
