Next Overwatch hero is teased as “unidentified assailant”

For the past week since the Efi blog post appeared on the Overwatch site, fans have been desperate to find out who or what the next Overwatch hero is.

There’s been all kinds of theories, Doomfist joining the game, the child Efi being a new hero, then it was a spider robot which Jeff Kaplan dismissed, and now we have this from Blizzard today.

Nobody, apart from Blizzard, knows what’s coming next but it’s probably fair to say that the next addition will be tied to the robotics expert Efi Oladele. It’s unlikely a small child will be dashing around the battlefield so she may appear in a more grown up form. We’ll have to wait and see.
